A renovated crisis center in Hernando with a new courtroom addition that consolidates mental health treatment and court services under one roof.
Located in Hernando, Mississippi, the DeSoto County Crisis Center includes the renovation of an existing 8,300 square foot building and the addition of a new 2,285 square foot courtroom to support the mental health needs for all of Desoto County. While the footprint of the existing building houses treatment and administrative functions to meet operational needs, the addition provides secure and convenient court programs. The new exterior facade-work ties the new court into the existing structure to form a single, unified expression. Together, these renovations provide DeSoto County with a modernized facility designed to support essential community mental health services.
