This 9,500-square-foot facility serves as the headquarters for the Memphis Firefighters Association, consolidating executive offices, staff workspaces, and public amenities under a single, purpose-driven roof. The program includes 5,000 square feet of interior office and amenity space, a 2,500-square-foot firefighters’ credit union, and 1,600 square feet of covered exterior patio. A prominent meeting hall on the eastern end accommodates up to 150 occupants and can be configured as a private event space, providing flexible functionality for the association and community.
The architectural composition and material palette were selected to convey dignity and respect for Memphis firefighters while establishing a cohesive, professional environment for administration and gathering. Careful articulation of massing, fenestration, and exterior detailing reinforces the building’s civic presence while supporting the operational needs of its members.
